Short Biography

RRSF0855Syed Asim Shah received his Bachelors of Engineering in Mechatronics from the Department of Computing and Software at McMaster University in July, 2015. During his final year at McMaster, he joined the McMaster Formula Hybrid/EcoCar3 team where he was first exposed to the automotive research facilities available at McMaster (i.e. MacAUTO). Asim enjoyed the environment at MacAUTO and found a new interest in the automotive industry. Asim decided to continue on as a graduate student at McMaster pursuing a Masters of Applied Science in Software Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Alan Wassyng and Dr. Mark Lawford. He subsequently joined MacAUTO in August, 2015. Asim hopes to spend the next few years learning as much as he can and aims to eventually obtain a PhD
