Short Biography

Le Sun received the B.Sc. and the M.Sc. degrees from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 2009 and 2012, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the school of electrical engineering, Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2016. From 2012 to 2013, he was a R&D Engineer with the United Automotive Electronic Systems (BOSCH & UAES) Company, Ltd., Shanghai, China. From 2017, as a postdoctoral research fellow, he joined McMaster Automotive Resource Centre (MARC), McMaster University, Canada. His areas of interest include analysis, design and control of permanent-magnet (PM) motors and power management techniques for electric vehicle (EV) and hybrid EV (HEV) applications.
